Job Description

Answers multi-line phone system for a busy Department of Surgery call center. Schedules clinic appointments, takes and routes messages, monitors all physician schedules, manages all scheduling and registration work queues, and manages the multiple fax and email inboxes.

Answer all incoming telephone lines for five clinic specialties, taking messages, and directing the calls appropriately.

Schedule appointments for five clinic specialties; register the patients in the Epic electronic medical record; gather all demographic and insurance information.

Monitor, correct, and work all errors in the Confirm Report, Patient Registration Report, Referral/Scheduling WQ reports, and any other reports and inboxes that are requested.
