Job Description

To provide advanced professional administrative support to the Office of Faculty Affairs and Diversity in the School of Nursing.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Human Resources, or related field of study, and at least 3 years of related and progressive experience. Advanced knowledge level of computer and Microsoft Office. Effective communication and writing skills.

Job Duty

Support the Manager of Faculty Affairs and Diversity Responsible for creating, coordinating, organizing and maintaining faculty files. Responsible to assist in the recruitment of faculty by administratively processing vacancy advertisements, faculty appointment packages, faculty offer letters and initial Promotion and Tenure documentation. Responsible for record retention process and support with the UT Careers system for faculty recruitment.

Job Duty

Provides administrative support to nursing faculty and staff. This includes, but not limited to support processes for the procurement of goods and services through the preparation of PeopleSoft requisitions, travel requisitions, local/state vouchers, travel vouchers, prior approvals, course registrations, travel reimbursement, scheduling of meetings and conferences and maintaining faculty time and leave records.

Job Duty

Assists faculty and staff with formatting reports, correspondence, agendas, memorandum, presentations, fliers, posters, committee meetings etc. Assists with hiring and paying consultants together with the office manager. Will be assigned as a primary faculty committee administrative support. Will schedule committee meetings, take meeting minutes, follow-up on committee motions and provide administrative support as need for school governance

Job Duty

Greets all visitors to OFAD and answers phones. Provide back up support to office and other areas within the School of Nursing. Other duties as needed or directed.
