Job Description

This position will provide professional administrative support for the Director of the Biggs Institute for Alzheimer’s & Neurodegenerative Diseases.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience supporting a Director or other high-level executive.

Job Duty

Direct and oversee operations of the office of the Director of the Biggs Institute for Alzheimer’s & Neurodegenerative Diseases.

Job Duty

Manage Director’s calendar by scheduling all appointments, clinical activities, and research. Receive, screen, and respond to all requests for contact with the Director by handling and/or delegating those that do not require her attention and referring only items to the Director that require her attention. Arrange Director travel. Act as liaison between the Biggs Institute and other University offices, external groups, and the community.

Job Duty

Assist with faculty recruitment by scheduling interviews with the selection committee, making travel arrangements for applicants, and assisting applicants during the interview. Prepare all faculty appointment paperwork and facilitate the on boarding process for new faculty.

Plan and organize special events and educational lectures for faculty and the general public.
