Job Description

Serves as an advanced nurse providing primary level of care in Cardiovascular disease in collaboration with physicians and other members of the health care team to a specific patient population in a very busy outpatient and/or inpatient setting. Maintains an advanced knowledge base and skills in health promotion and maintenance, disease prevention, physical and psychosocial assessment and management of health and illness in the health care of individuals.

Preferred Qualifications

Ideal candidate will be Master’s prepared with current RN Texas licensure, board certification. Experience in adult, family practice or acute care. Prefer nurse practitioner with experience in Cardiology. Potential candidates must have excellent communication skills.

Job Duty

Candidate will function in ambulatory and inpatient settings (clinic) and assist in outpatient clinics.

Assists with non interventional case loads and provides support to University Hospital System clinics and other various locations.
